<lj:music>Bring Me The Horizon - Count Your Blessing</lj:music>

AKA Me.

I sort of half want to go off on some big rant about everything. Even though thats what I figured LJ is for, it doesn't feel right. Gonna have to wait for me to get drunk, then it'll come.

Instead, I'm gonna do a bit on We Are Scientists. They. Were. Amazing. Its a rare thing for me to appreciate a gig where I stood at the back and got a little tipsy as opposed to "moshing" down the front. But they were that good. It was worthwhile just to stand and listen, and watch the people. Considering they're effectively a 2-piece though, seeing 4 of them come on was a little weird. They have a keyboard player now. Sellouts.
But the set was ace. I can't remember it by heart, but it seemed to focus on the old stuff. Don't get me wrong, the new album is cracking. But the first one was close to my semi-rock ideals of perfection. That and Keith Murray is the coolest man alive. After Justin Stanley, but thats another post for another day.

"The Juicy Dangler."

Anyway.

No afternoon lessons tomorrow, which means I can come home and try and sort my <del>life</del>revision out. Always a good thing, at least I think it is. Home at half 2 as opposed to 6. If I'm expressing punctuality and time based efficiency in purely Mortal Kombat terms, thats easily Flawless Victory.
*ahem* Sorry.

Final point: Hardcore Music, i.e. Bring Me The Horizon. What are the rest of the world's opinions on it? I'm warming to the screaming. And the guitar is undoubtedly impressive. Tell me whatchu think.

Big shout out to mah homie Miles Dyson. Roid Rage King of the Internets.

Au Rev.
Thom.
<lj:music>We Are Scientists - Brain Thrust Mastery</lj:music>

So, as a proper Livejournal user, I guess I should post something about "my day".

It went on forever and ever. Having a laptop really didn't do my sleep pattern any good. I put it to you, reader, whether or not it is considered worthwhile to watch Ed Byrne all night and thereby mess up a chemistry paper. I reckon it is, but I would, so that means very little.
But anyway. My day. Chemistry was just an exam, nothing interesting whatsoever. Break was equally dull, as losing at Hearts is naff. Biology went rather well. Chatting about WoW and nailing a practice paper was great. It all kinda descended into a free though, so early finish.

Hang on. This is bloody dull! I really do apologise.

Interesting things? Erm.

Grand Theft Auto IV is the only thing worth talking about at the moment, or so it seems. For anyone who has played the series, this just looks like the icing on a particularly large, sugary cake. Its going to be an exam killer when it comes out. Not good for morale, really.

Tomorrow night! Surprise We Are Scientists gig! Well, surprise insofar as I only found out I was going today. That'll be a larf.

I'm dull tonight. I'll try again later. Really, I need a subject to right about. Suggestions plix.

Au Rev.
Thom.

Like everything else that I've ever done as a result of reading the muse boards, this is probably going to be a bad idea that comes good in the end. Staying with internet strangers at 14 anyone?

So. Hello. To start with, I'm gonna make a few promises that I'll break in due time.

I will make this "blog" as interesting as I can

I won't talk about one topic constantly and never mention anything else

I won't whine about my lovelife

I will rant about things that matter, not the fact that the metal can ruins the beer

I won't post endless youtube videos of things that no one will care about

Thats like my Constitution. There will invariably be amendments.

So anyway! That was a beginning, but not the beginning. Now for some Belgian Jazz....
No.

The main point of this blog will be for me to accumulate comments and friends. Shallow or not, thats my only motivation.

<marquee behavior="alternate" direction="left">I'll also use bouncing text! Because it will always be cool.</marquee>

That'll do for a first post. Might get more as I get more and more bored/tired/close to schooltime.

Au Rev.
Thom.
